Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue goals and company growth targets.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a dynamic sales team, fostering a culture of achievement and collaboration.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding market share and strengthening client relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and finance teams to align sales objectives with company goals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to continuously refine the sales approach.
  • Prepare and manage the sales budget, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Represent the company in high-level client meetings, negotiations, and industry events to promote brand visibility and credibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of sales experience in the logistics or shipping industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue in a competitive market.
  • Strong knowledge of the shipping and logistics industry, market trends, and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with the ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
