Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Air Export Coordinator to manage the end-to-end logistics lifecycle for our international outbound shipments. In this role, you will be responsible for the seamless execution of our outbound air freight operations—including building air consolidations and managing expedited timelines. The ideal candidate has deep technical knowledge of air freight logistics, strong airline and ground handling relationships, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end international air export files from the initial booking request to final destination delivery.
• Plan, optimize, and secure airline bookings, leveraging air consolidations (consols) to select the most cost-effective and efficient routing options.
• Prepare, verify, and execute all necessary export documentation, including House and Master Air Waybills (HAWB/MAWB), cargo manifests, and automated export customs declarations (EEI/AES).
• Coordinate daily with commercial airlines, cargo carriers, ground handling agents (GHAs), and local warehouse teams to ensure strict airline cargo cutoffs are met.
• Maintain strict compliance with international air freight regulations, IATA standards, and TSA cargo security protocols (IACSSP).
• Provide real-time milestone tracking and proactive exception updates to global clients, overseas agents, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in global freight forwarding, explicitly focused on international Air Export operations.
• Deep understanding of international air shipping terminology, Incoterms, IATA regulations, and TSA air cargo security procedures.
• Proficiency utilizing specialized freight forwarding/TMS software (e.g., CargoWise, CargoSprint, or equivalent ERP systems).
• Proven ability to multitask and manage time-sensitive, high-volume air export deadlines where speed and accuracy are critical.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to manage fast-moving relationships with global clients, airlines, and terminal dispatchers.
