Known for its niche vertical expertise and flexible, customer-centric approach, the company is experiencing strong U.S. growth and is now expanding its Midwest commercial team.


About the Role

This position is ideal for a driven, relationship-led sales professional who thrives in a high-autonomy environment. You’ll be responsible for developing new business across the Midwest market, focusing on air and ocean freight, as well as integrated supply chain solutions. You’ll have access to a strong global network, competitive service offering, and an operations team capable of supporting complex customer requirements. The role offers real opportunity to shape regional growth, build long-term accounts, and collaborate closely with senior leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy for the Midwest region

  • Prospect, qualify, and onboard new freight forwarding customers (air, ocean, warehousing, customs)

  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing

  • Partner with internal operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery

  • Maintain strong industry awareness within key verticals and regional trade lanes


Candidate Requirements

  • 3+ years of freight forwarding sales experience (air & ocean)

  • Proven track record of new business development and closing accounts

  • Strong understanding of global logistics, NVOCC operations, and international trade

  • Midwest-based with established regional market knowledge

  • Self-motivated, consultative, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
