Ocean Export Supervisor

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and support a team of 2–10 export agents

• Oversee daily ocean export shipment processing

• Ensure accurate documentation, billing, and file profitability

• Handle shipment escalations and customer issues

• Review and approve quotations for customers and internal sales teams

• Monitor compliance with export regulations and company procedures

• Coordinate transportation from port to final destination

• Train, coach, and evaluate staff performance

• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency

• Maintain relationships with carriers, vendors, and customers

• Prepare operational and performance reports

What We’re Looking For

• 2–5+ years freight forwarding export experience

• Prior supervisory or team lead experience

• Strong knowledge of ocean freight export operations

• Ability to manage escalations and problem shipments

• Customer-focused mindset

• Organized and detail-oriented

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment

• Strong systems and analytical skills
