Outside Sales Executive - International Freight Forwarding (Dallas, TX)

 

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Executive to join our team in Dallas, TX. This pivotal role focuses on expanding our Global Forwarding services, including international air, ocean, and rail, by identifying and securing new business opportunities. As part of our dynamic sales team, you’ll play a key role in driving revenue growth while delivering tailored logistics solutions to clients.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Business Development: Prospect, plan, and execute face-to-face meetings with prospective customers within the branch territory.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing solutions that align with their supply chain needs and business strategies.
  • Sales Execution: Generate revenue by presenting supply chain improvement strategies, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Collaboration: Work with Account Executives/Managers and internal departments to ensure seamless customer experiences and successful account transitions.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM system to track opportunities and ensure effective forecasting and planning.
  • Solution Design: Partner with internal teams to develop customized solutions that address customer challenges and support long-term business goals.
  • Lead Management: Respond to sales leads from overseas offices or those assigned by the Sales Manager.
  • Market Insight Sharing: Share industry insights, trends, and best practices to contribute to the team’s overall success.

 

Qualifications

 

  • High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • 2-3 years of outside sales experience in logistics or freight forwarding.
  • Proven ability to develop and close sales in a competitive market.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (3-4 days per week).
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and data-driven decision-making.
