Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with VP of Sales and President to create and implement strategic sales plans for corporate growth.
- Develop a national sales training program and recruit a nationwide sales team.
- Hire an in-house recruiter to support sales team expansion, handling job descriptions, candidate sourcing, and interview scheduling.
- Set KPIs for the sales team and individuals, monitoring progress regularly.
- Lead, inspire, and coach the sales team to meet and exceed targets.
- Assist VP of Sales in cultivating client relationships.
- Drive company growth and market share through strategic initiatives.
- Implement corrective actions for non-performing members.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years in global freight forwarding sales.
- Proven experience in building successful sales teams in international logistics.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, leadership, negotiation, and communication.
