Title: Air & Ocean Import Specialist

Location: Miami, FL (100% On-Site)

Are you a 3PL freight forwarding professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows international import execution inside and out? We are partnering with a top logistics provider in Miami to recruit an Air & Ocean Import Specialist.

What You’ll Be Doing (A-to-Z Execution)

• Document Audit & Processing: Review and correct cargo docs, commercial invoices, HBL/MBL, and HAWB/MAWB for accuracy.
• Carrier & Terminal Coordination: Pay port terminal and airline fees, issue delivery orders, and arrange airport cartage and port drayage dispatch.
• Customs & Compliance: Prepare documentation for customs clearance, manage ISF filings, and coordinate OGA / FDA / FPOA entry processes.
• Tracking & Client Communication: Provide real-time shipment updates, resolve operational bottlenecks, and maintain excellent client relationships.
• Billing & Vendor Approvals: Invoice client files accurately according to payment terms and audit/approve incoming vendor invoices.
• Warehouse Alignment: Communicate timely shipment arrival details and dispatch instructions to the warehouse team.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years in 3PL freight forwarding import operations (Air & Ocean combined experience strongly preferred).
• Technical Knowledge: Hands-on experience with ISF filings, FDA regulations, customs compliance, and terminal/airline fee processing.
• Core Skills: Strong multi-tasker, complex problem solver, and sharp eye for documentation detail.
• Languages: Fluent English required (Spanish or additional languages are a plus!).

Salary range: $65,000 -$75,000
