Tender Manager
Overview
The Tender Manager is responsible for managing the full tender and RFQ process for global and regional opportunities. This role ensures accurate, competitive, and commercially sound submissions that strengthen the company’s market position across air, ocean, trucking, and multimodal services.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and coordinate the tender process for strategic bids, ensuring compliance with deadlines and customer requirements.

Analyze RFQs and RFPs to determine scope, feasibility, and pricing strategy in collaboration with sales, trade lane, and product teams.

Develop and validate pricing models across air, ocean, and road transport, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.

Consolidate input from operations, procurement, finance, and trade management into a single cohesive tender submission.

Maintain a database of rates, service capabilities, and tender performance metrics to support continuous improvement.

Manage customer Q&A during tender phases and ensure clarity and precision in all responses.

Conduct post-bid reviews with stakeholders to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.

Build strong working relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to align on pricing and capacity strategies.
Qualifications & Experience

5+ years in freight forwarding, with hands-on experience in pricing, tender management, or commercial support.

Strong knowledge of international logistics, including air, ocean (FCL/LCL), trucking, and customs compliance.

Proven ability to manage complex RFQs and deliver accurate, competitive tenders under tight deadlines.

Excellent analytical and financial skills with the ability to model margins and profitability.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, CargoWise, or other industry systems.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple geographies.
