Global Key Account Manager
Position Overview
The Global Key Account Manager is responsible for leading and expanding strategic multinational accounts, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and company capabilities. This role drives global sales growth, strengthens long-term partnerships, and develops tailored logistics solutions across air, ocean, and multimodal services.
Key Responsibilities

Own and develop relationships with assigned global key accounts, acting as primary commercial contact.

Drive account growth through new business development, cross-selling, and solution-based selling.

Lead global RFQs, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.

Align with regional and local sales teams to ensure consistent service delivery across all geographies.

Track and report account performance, GP growth, and volume targets through CRM tools.

Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and ensure all SOPs and SLAs are met.

Monitor compliance with global trade regulations and company standards.

Develop strategic account plans to increase market share and profitability.
Required Qualifications

7+ years in freight forwarding, with proven experience managing large multinational accounts.

Strong background in both air and ocean freight (import and export).

Demonstrated success in global account management, contract negotiation, and solution design.

Expertise in key trade lanes: Transpacific, Transatlantic, Intra-Europe, or Intra-Asia.

Proficiency with CRM and logistics platforms (CargoWise, SAP, Salesforce, or equivalent).

Knowledge of U.S. and international trade compliance.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
