Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Healthcare to lead and develop our healthcare vertical in the USA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in freight forwarding and an in-depth understanding of the healthcare supply chain. This individual will drive growth, oversee key accounts, and ensure compliance with industry standards for the transportation of healthcare products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow the healthcare vertical across the USA.
  • Lead business development initiatives, identifying and securing new opportunities within the healthcare industry.
  • Manage and expand relationships with key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee the transportation of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and other healthcare products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, including GDP, FDA, and IATA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to align strategy and drive operational excellence.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales, operations, and customer service professionals within the healthcare division.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Drive profitability through effective cost management and process optimization.
  • Prepare and present performance reports and forecasts to senior management.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in freight forwarding, with a focus on healthcare logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, including cold chain management.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and account management.
  • Leadership experience with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute operational initiatives effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
