Overview:
We are hiring a Business Development Manager to expand our international freight forwarding footprint across the Gulf region. This role requires a commercially driven professional with strong knowledge of air and ocean freight, a hunter mentality, and a proven ability to convert leads into long-term revenue.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive new business acquisition across FCL, LCL, and airfreight services with a focus on Gulf trade

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting industrial, chemical, and energy clients in the Houston market

Collaborate with operations and pricing teams to build tailored logistics solutions

Maintain visibility in the market, attending industry events and leveraging networks for lead generation

Meet or exceed monthly GP targets, with full ownership of pipeline development and client onboarding
Required Experience:

3–5+ years of sales experience in international freight forwarding (air & ocean)

Strong market knowledge of Houston and the Gulf region, particularly in chemical, O&G, and manufacturing verticals

Demonstrated ability to close new business and grow GP

Familiarity with global trade lanes, Incoterms, and compliance requirements

CRM proficiency (Salesforce, CargoWise, or equivalent)
