Role Overview
As an Air & Sea Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business development, maintaining client relationships, and expanding the company’s market share in Germany. You will focus on selling international air and sea freight services, working closely with internal teams to provide customized solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to acquire new customers for air and sea freight services.
- Identify and target potential clients across various industries, including manufacturing, retail, and automotive.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Negotiate rates, service agreements, and contracts with customers.
- Collaborate with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Key Requirements
- Proven sales experience in international freight forwarding, with a focus on air and sea freight.
- Strong network within the logistics industry in Germany.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining a strong connection with the team.
- Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
