Altius Talent is partnering with a mid-sized freight forwarder to recruit an experienced and results-driven Sales Executive for the Hanover area, specializing in air and sea freight services. This position is ideal for a skilled business development professional with a solid background in freight forwarding who is ready to take full ownership of a regional sales territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of clients within the Hanover region, offering customized air and sea freight solutions
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and in-person meetings
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction
- Consistently achieve sales targets and contribute to the strategic growth of the business in the region
- Deliver tailored presentations and proposals to meet specific client needs
- Stay informed on market developments, competitor activity, and industry trends
Candidate Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in external sales within freight forwarding, logistics, or related sectors
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Highly self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently
- Solid understanding of air and sea freight products and services
- Fluency in both German and English
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range of €65,000 – €75,000, depending on experience
