Business Development Manager – Air, Ocean & Domestic Freight
Location: Kansas, MO
Salary: $85,000 Base + Commission + Benefits

Altius Talent is working with a well-established global freight forwarder seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the Kansas market.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven freight forwarding sales professional with a hunter mentality, strong local network, and experience selling Air, Ocean, and Domestic transportation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate new business opportunities across the Kasas region
• Sell a full suite of services including Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Domestic Transportation, Warehousing & Customs solutions
• Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline from lead generation through to close
• Build long-term relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers, and distributors
• Work closely with operations and pricing teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions
• Achieve monthly and annual gross profit / revenue targets
• Maintain strong market knowledge of competitors and industry trends

Requirements:

• Proven success in freight forwarding / logistics sales
• Strong background selling Air, Ocean & Domestic freight solutions
• Existing book of business / strong network within Kansas highly advantageous
• Hunter mentality with a track record of winning new accounts
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated, driven, and able to work autonomously

Package:

• Base salary up to $85,000 depending on experience
• Uncapped commission structure
