Job Title: Senior Sales Executive – Air & Ocean Freight
Location: California (Los Angeles / West Coast)
Salary: Up to $130,000 Base + Commission + Benefits
Overview:
We’re partnering with a global top-tier freight forwarder looking to hire a Senior Sales Executive to drive growth across California. This is a high-impact, hunter-focused role targeting new business across Air & Ocean freight, backed by a well-established international network and strong operational infrastructure.
This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned sales professional who can leverage existing relationships, open new doors, and build a strong book of business within a globally recognised brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development across Air & Ocean freight within the California market
- Build, manage, and convert a strong pipeline of target clients
- Identify and win new opportunities across key verticals (retail, pharma, automotive, industrial, etc.)
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to closing and onboarding
- Develop tailored logistics solutions in collaboration with pricing and operations teams
- Grow and maintain long-term client relationships to maximise revenue and retention
- Work closely with global offices and product teams on strategic accounts and trade lanes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of freight forwarding sales experience (Air & Ocean)
- Proven track record of generating new business and exceeding revenue targets
- Strong understanding of international logistics, trade lanes, and solution selling
- Existing book of business or strong industry network preferred
- Commercially driven with a true hunter mentality
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills
