About the Role We are looking for a driven and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead business development efforts across the Dallas region. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, growing a book of business, and building long-term relationships with shippers, importers, exporters, and supply chain decision-makers. This is a hunter-led role suited to someone who thrives in a competitive, high-activity sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development across air, ocean, and road freight within the Dallas and wider Texas market.
- Build and manage a pipeline of target accounts across key verticals including manufacturing, retail, energy, and e-commerce.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to grow revenue and expand service usage.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery for new clients.
- Prepare and present tailored freight solutions, rate proposals, and RFQ responses.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions across the region.
- Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting to senior leadership.
Skills and Experience
Required
- Proven track record in a field sales or business development role within freight forwarding, logistics, or global trade.
- Strong knowledge of the Dallas/Texas market with an established network of shipper contacts.
- Experience selling across multiple modes including air freight, ocean freight, and domestic transportation.
- Confident negotiator with the ability to close deals at mid to senior level.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently in a regional role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
