Project Manager

About the Role We are looking for a organised and proactive Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and delivery of operational and commercial projects across the business. Working closely with operations managers, freight teams, and external partners, you will play a key role in keeping projects on track, on time, and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities across freight, logistics, and supply chain workstreams, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including plans, trackers, status reports, and meeting notes.
• Schedule and facilitate project meetings, reviews, and cross-functional calls with internal teams and external partners including carriers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders.
• Monitor project progress and flag risks, delays, or operational blockers to the relevant stakeholders.
• Liaise with operations, commercial, and compliance teams to align priorities and resolve issues quickly.
• Support the coordination of shipments, lane transitions, or new trade lane launches where required.
• Assist with budget tracking, vendor management, and contract coordination.
• Keep project management tools and systems current and accurate at all times.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and post-project reviews.

Skills and Experience

Required

• Proven experience in a project coordination or operational support role, ideally within freight forwarding, logistics, or global trade.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident using project management or TMS/operational tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proactive and solutions-focused with strong attention to detail.
