Altius Talent is partnering with a growing international freight forwarding and customs brokerage provider with decades in the game, seeking an experienced Licensed Customs Broker to lead their compliance function.

Position Overview
The LCB Compliance Manager will oversee customs compliance operations, ensuring adherence to CBP regulations across all import/export activities. This role is ideal for a Licensed Customs Broker who combines regulatory expertise with team leadership and process improvement skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day customs compliance operations and ensure all entries meet CBP regulatory requirements
• Monitor and interpret changes in customs regulations, trade agreements, and tariff classifications
• Manage internal audits and compliance reviews to identify and correct risk areas
• Serve as the primary point of contact for CBP inquiries, audits, and post-entry corrections
• Guide and support the entry writing and brokerage team on complex classification, valuation, and admissibility issues
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and training materials
• Liaise with clients on compliance matters, duty drawback, and trade program participation (e.g., C-TPAT, ISF)
• Manage HTS classification review and binding ruling requests as needed

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Active Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) designation required
• 5+ years of customs brokerage experience, including compliance-focused responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of CBP regulations, HTS classification, valuation, and trade compliance programs
• Experience with customs entry systems (e.g., ACE, CargoWise)
• Proven leadership or mentorship experience within a brokerage or compliance team
• Excellent communication skills, with experience liaising directly with CBP and clients
