Company Overview

Our client is a growing international freight forwarder with an expanding footprint across the U.S. market. With a strong focus on service and operational excellence, they are continuing to build out their Atlanta office and are now looking to add an experienced Air Export Operator to the team.

Role Summary

The Air Export Operator will be responsible for handling international air export shipments from start to finish (A–Z). This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple shipments, coordinate with global partners, and ensure a high level of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full A–Z air export shipments
• Coordinate bookings with airlines and overseas agents
• Prepare and process all export documentation (HAWB/MAWB, AES, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with all export regulations and procedures
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and international offices
• Track and monitor shipments, providing proactive updates
• Handle any issues, delays, or discrepancies efficiently
• Maintain accurate data within internal systems (CargoWise preferred)

Requirements

• 3–5+ years’ experience in Air Export operations within freight forwarding
• Proven experience managing shipments A–Z
• Strong knowledge of export documentation and compliance (AES filings, TSA, etc.)
• Experience working with airlines and international partners
• CargoWise (CW1) experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
