Sea Import Operator

Altius Talent is working with a global freight forwarder to find an experienced Sea Freight Import Operator to join their team based out of their Hamburg office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle sea freight import operations, ensuring timely and efficient processing of shipments.
• Handle all relevant documentation related to sea freight imports, including Bills of Lading, invoices, and packing lists.
• Oversee and execute customs clearance processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage and track shipments, resolving any operational issues that arise.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and documentation, ensuring all details are up to date in the system.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sea freight import operations, particularly in managing the full documentation process.
• Strong background in customs clearance and knowledge of German import regulations.
• Fluent in German, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.

Salary: €48,000 - €55,000, depending on experience.
