Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and retain your own portfolio of clients focused on Africa-bound air and sea freight trade lanes.
- Drive commercial growth across Anglophone Africa by enhancing internal expertise and market presence.
- Support internal sales teams on customer visits, pricing strategy, and tailored proposals.
- Design and implement reliable, scalable operational solutions for trade between Germany and Africa.
- Provide ongoing training and support to internal stakeholders on market specifics and regional nuances.
- Work closely with global and regional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Transport, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar trade lane development or commercial freight forwarding role.
- Strong knowledge of both air and sea freight operations.
- Proficiency with IT tools, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent English and German are required; French is a plus.
- A proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
