Position Overview:

As a Sea Freight Pricing Specialist, you will support the commercial and operational teams by preparing accurate and competitive pricing for ocean freight services. Your work will directly impact the company’s success in tenders, spot quoting, and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare FCL and LCL pricing for import and export requests
• Negotiate rates and space with carriers, co-loaders, and overseas partners
• Assist sales teams with RFQs, tenders, and customer-specific pricing strategies
• Maintain and update internal rate management tools and cost structures
• Monitor market trends and ensure competitiveness in key trade lanes
• Ensure pricing aligns with margin expectations and profitability goals
• Build strong internal relationships with sales, operations, and overseas offices

Your Profile:

• Experience in sea freight pricing or ocean freight operations within forwarding
• Familiarity with global trade lanes, Incoterms, and shipping processes
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Competency in Microsoft Excel and freight forwarding software (e.g., CargoWise, SAP TM)
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
