About the Role

This is a crucial role supporting the LATAM pricing function for the Miami office. You’ll act as the point of contact for rate requests, RFQs, and strategic pricing activity across ocean freight, helping ensure competitiveness in the market while maintaining profitability. The role combines operational reactivity with strategic pricing coordination, working closely with internal sales teams and overseas partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, prepare, and submit pricing for LATAM-focused RFQs and spot quote requests
• Collaborate with sales and operations to provide strategic, market-relevant pricing
• Maintain rate matrices and tariff sheets for key carriers and lanes
• Monitor LATAM market trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly
• Act as the liaison between the Miami branch and overseas partners regarding rate negotiations
• Support margin analysis and profitability tracking on awarded business

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in freight forwarding pricing, preferably LATAM-focused
• Strong knowledge of ocean freight pricing and carrier contracts
• Proficient in Excel and freight rate platforms (e.g., Cargowise, CargoSphere, etc.)
• High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously
• Based in the Miami area and able to work on-site Monday through Thursday
• Spanish language skills highly preferred but not required
