They deal with planning, coordinating, and monitoring shipments.

The duties and responsibilities of an Office Freight Forwarding Manager include:
  • organizing meetings with the team to review KPI’s and operational flow
  • handling staff recruitment and appraisals
  • attending meetings with senior management
  • ordering stationery
  • dealing with correspondence, complaints and queries
  • dealing with customs brokerage departments to work in the most efficient way
  • Managing office budgets, preparing monthly estimates and P&L review
  • liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
  • implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems
  • delegating tasks to junior employees – ensuring the workload is equally distributed
  • booking transport and accommodation – help team when in need to ensure smooth operational flows (opening files, billing, calling clients, schedule trucking pick up)
  • organizing induction programs for new employees
  • ensuring that health and safety policies are up to date and in compliance with California laws and regulations
  • keeping personnel records and liaising with HR for any issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and laws related to international and domestic trade
  • Resolving any issues or delays that arise during the shipping process
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns and resolving complaints
  • Planning and implementing staff training for skill development and process understanding
