Location: Los Angeles, CA

An established and growing international freight forwarder is seeking an experienced Ocean Export Agent to join its Los Angeles operations team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering long-term stability and progression as the business continues to expand across the US market.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end ocean export operations from booking through final delivery

• Handle FCL and LCL shipments in line with customer and carrier requirements

• Prepare and process all export documentation including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and AES filings

• Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas offices, agents, and customers

• Maintain accurate shipment records within CargoWise

• Support Dangerous Goods shipments where applicable, ensuring compliance with regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience in an Ocean Export role within a freight forwarding environment

• CargoWise experience is essential

• Any exposure to Dangerous Goods is highly advantageous

• Strong knowledge of ocean export processes and documentation

• Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
