We are seeking a highly driven, experienced, and growth-oriented Licensed Customs Broker to join a respected, established, and rapidly growing global logistics provider at their premier New York hub. This critical hire will serve as the qualifying license holder for the organization, driving trade compliance excellence across all operations.

Core Industry Expertise

• Comprehensive oversight of all regulatory functions including FMC, ACE Portal, US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and CTPAT initiatives.

• Ability to serve as the corporate qualifying License Holder, ensuring complete organizational alignment with federal regulations.

• Acting as the principal brand ambassador and point of contact at Broker Association meetings and industry panels.

What You’ll Handle

• Serve as the primary Licensed Customs Broker representing the organization, maintaining flawless operational and regulatory standards.

• Oversee and audit all corporate customs compliance workflows, ensuring absolute accuracy across entry processing, documentation, and data transmission.

• Manage the ACE Portal, CTPAT validation, FMC regulations, and end-to-end US Customs and Border Protection protocols.

• Act as the definitive corporate escalation point for intricate regulatory hurdles, proactively resolving disputes or requests for information with federal entities.

• Represent the company’s commercial interests and build robust networks at regional Broker Association meetings.

• Establish foundational operational compliance practices, with the explicit mandate to build out, transition, and manage a team of 5–7 direct reports (moving the broker group under this desk) by 2027.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid, active US Customs Broker License (LCB) with a clean regulatory standing.

• An ambitious, growth-oriented professional possessing strong industry experience but actively looking to accelerate their career, acquire new skills, and assume heavy operational ownership.

• Deep practical knowledge of US Customs laws, CTPAT security criteria, FMC filing, and professional brokerage software.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of confidently representing the firm in industry association boards and regulatory environments.

Compensation & Benefits

• $100,000 base salary plus two annual bonuses ($5,000+ each, dependent on company financial results and individual performance milestones).
