Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing airfreight customers in the Frankfurt region
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking
- Prepare and present tailored airfreight solutions and quotations to clients
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless handling of new accounts
- Maintain accurate records of pipeline, sales activities, and customer interactions in CRM systems
- Support senior sales colleagues on larger accounts while learning the full sales cycle
- Stay informed on market trends, airline capacity, and competitor activity
Requirements
- 3 + years’ experience in airfreight forwarding operations (export, import, or both)
- Strong understanding of airfreight processes and customer requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach
- Ambitious, proactive, and eager to develop a long-term career in sales
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken)
- A clear career development path into external sales with hands-on training
