The Role
As Inside Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing the company’s existing customer base while supporting field sales with lead generation and account development. Based out of the Düsseldorf office (with a flexible hybrid model), you will be the key contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication, commercial support, and proactive service delivery.
Responsibilities

Develop and manage a portfolio of SME and mid-sized freight forwarding customers

Proactively engage with existing clients to strengthen relationships and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities

Collaborate closely with field sales, operations, and pricing teams to prepare quotations and tailored logistics solutions

Maintain up-to-date CRM records, tracking client interactions and pipeline activity

Follow up on marketing campaigns and inbound leads, converting them into active accounts

Support tender responses and ad hoc pricing requests from the network

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to help shape sales strategy
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in inside sales or customer service within freight forwarding/logistics

Strong understanding of air and/or sea freight operations

Commercially driven with excellent communication and negotiation skills

Fluent in German and proficient in English (spoken & written)

Comfortable working independently and managing multiple accounts with a structured approach

Experience using CRM systems (e.g. CargoWise, Salesforce, or similar)
