About the Role

Our client, a growing freight forwarding company, is seeking a Customs Brokerage Manager to lead their brokerage and trade compliance operations. This role allows for a hybrid work schedule, combining office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily customs brokerage operations using CargoWise.

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 4 entry writers.

• Review and approve customs entries for accuracy and compliance.

• Serve as primary liaison with customs authorities, carriers, and clients.

• Oversee audits, recordkeeping, and reporting to meet regulatory requirements.

• Identify and implement process improvements.

• Keep current on tariffs, trade agreements, and customs regulations.
