Overview:

On behalf of our client — a well-established and growing logistics provider specializing in high-touch freight forwarding services — we are seeking a
Customer Service Specialist to join their team. This is a key hire for a client known for delivering exceptional, white-glove service to premium and project-based accounts.

This role is ideal for a logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-centric environment and is passionate about delivering top-tier service to high-end and VIP clientele. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of VIP clients and key project accounts.

  • Deliver accurate and timely pricing and quotations in coordination with sales and pricing teams.

  • Closely monitor all shipment stages — from booking to final delivery — ensuring proactive communication and updates.

  • Address and resolve service issues or delays swiftly, escalating complex matters as needed.

  • Liaise across departments (operations, customs, sales, finance) to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.

  • Maintain clear, professional communication across email, phone, and internal systems (CRM).

  • Track KPIs and prepare client-specific performance reports when required.

  • Take full ownership of each file — from start to finish — providing a hands-on, detail-driven approach to service.

Candidate Profile:

  • 3–5 years of experience in international freight forwarding or logistics customer service/operations.

  • Strong understanding of multimodal transport (air, ocean, and ground; import/export).

  • Proven ability to manage high-touch or VIP client accounts is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication skills with a client-first mindset.

  • Problem-solving orientation and a proactive, ownership-driven attitude.

  • Proficient in logistics systems, CRM tools, and the Microsoft Office suite.

  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
