Key Responsibilities:
- Lead global airfreight sales initiatives and contribute to the overall commercial strategy.
- Identify, pursue, and convert high-potential global and regional business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts, shippers, and partners.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (operations, pricing, trade lane development, etc.) to deliver integrated solutions.
- Represent the business at global trade shows, conferences, and customer visits.
- Provide detailed market intelligence, competitor analysis, and forecasting reports to senior leadership.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of global tender responses and pricing strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in international freight forwarding sales, with a strong focus on airfreight.
- Extensive commercial experience managing global or regional key accounts.
- Deep understanding of airfreight operations, pricing structures, and capacity planning.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to close high-value, multi-country deals.
- Fluent in English and German (additional languages advantageous).
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
