About the Opportunity
We’re representing a global freight forwarding leader with a strong footprint in healthcare logistics and an expanding U.S. presence. With advanced infrastructure across air, ocean, and ground transport, they’re known for delivering time-critical and GDP-compliant supply chain solutions. This opportunity is based out of their Chicago office and focuses on managing and expanding global healthcare accounts across key markets.

About the Role
You’ll take ownership of several high-value, multinational healthcare clients—developing strategic account plans, driving growth, and ensuring service excellence across all trade lanes. Working closely with both U.S. and overseas stakeholders, this role is highly collaborative and requires deep knowledge of healthcare logistics, including temperature-controlled and regulatory-sensitive freight. Ideal for someone who thrives in complex global account environments with a strategic and solutions-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for global healthcare clients, driving account retention and growth

• Develop and execute tailored account strategies aligned with client supply chain needs

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across operations, compliance, and overseas offices

• Monitor service KPIs and lead QBRs to ensure performance and client satisfaction

• Drive process improvement, cost savings, and solution innovation across the healthcare supply chain

• Navigate complex contract terms, RFQs, and pricing structures for global accounts

Candidate Requirements

• 5+ years in key account management within freight forwarding or 3PL, with a focus on healthcare or life sciences

• Strong knowledge of GDP, temperature-controlled logistics, and regulatory requirements

• Proven experience managing multinational accounts and coordinating with global teams

• Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities

• Based in or able to commute to the Chicago area

• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
