Freight Specialist

Job Title: Freight Specialist

Location: Houston, TX

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Air and Ocean import and export shipments from booking through final delivery.

• Communicate with customers, carriers, overseas agents, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.

• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, customs paperwork, and operational records.

• Track shipments, resolve service issues, and provide proactive customer updates.

• Ensure compliance with company procedures and international trade regulations.

Requirements:

• Experience within international freight forwarding or logistics operations.

• Working knowledge of Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and import/export processes.

• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

• Experience using CargoWise or similar freight management systems preferred.

• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
