About the Role

This is a senior commercial role with dual responsibility: driving sales growth while providing leadership to a high-performing business development team. The Director of Sales will be accountable for setting strategy, developing customer relationships, and ensuring revenue targets are consistently achieved. This role is best suited for a proven freight forwarding professional with both leadership capabilities and strong personal selling ability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales and business development professionals

  • Design and execute sales strategies to expand market share across air, ocean, and integrated logistics solutions

  • Drive personal new business wins and maintain relationships with strategic clients

  • Oversee the full sales cycle from prospecting through to customer onboarding and retention

  • Partner with executive leadership to align sales initiatives with overall business growth objectives

Candidate Requirements

  • 8+ years of commercial experience within freight forwarding, including leadership of sales teams

  • Proven track record of winning and developing large-scale accounts across air and ocean freight

  • Strong understanding of global trade lanes, customs brokerage, and multimodal logistics solutions

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance high-level leadership with hands-on selling

  • Must be based in the United States with the ability to travel domestically as needed
