About the Role

This senior-level sales leadership role is focused entirely on the U.S. domestic market, with a particular emphasis on cross-border operations into Mexico. The Director of Sales will drive new business, leverage an existing customer base, and deliver strategic solutions across domestic trucking, warehousing, and distribution. The position will also play a critical role in strengthening cross-border partnerships, optimizing trade flows, and aligning customer needs with operational strengths.

This role is based out of Chicago, Atlanta, or Los Angeles and will require strong industry experience and an active commercial network.

Key Responsibilities
 
  • Develop and execute a national sales strategy focused on U.S. domestic transportation and cross-border Mexico trade.
  • Leverage an existing customer portfolio while driving new client acquisition across multiple sectors.
  • Lead high-value sales negotiations, RFQs, and contract development with mid-to-large-scale clients.
  • Collaborate with warehousing and distribution teams to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and identify growth opportunities in domestic trucking and cross-border trade lanes.
  • Build long-term client partnerships through consultative and solution-based selling.

Candidate Requirements
 
  • 8+ years of proven sales leadership experience within domestic freight and logistics.
  • Strong expertise in cross-border Mexico trade and regulations.
  • Experience with warehousing and distribution solutions in addition to transportation.
  • A well-developed customer base and commercial network in domestic and cross-border markets.
  • Track record of delivering significant revenue growth and winning major accounts.
  • Ability to be based in Chicago, Atlanta, or Los Angeles.
