Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Customs Entry Writer to prepare and process customs entries, ensuring full compliance with CBP regulations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in customs documentation and entry writing.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file customs entries accurately and in compliance with CBP requirements
• Classify merchandise using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)
• Review import documentation for accuracy, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
• Coordinate with brokers, carriers, and clients to resolve entry discrepancies
• Ensure timely release of shipments through proper entry submission
• Maintain compliance with PGA requirements where applicable
• Monitor and manage ISF filings as needed

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in customs entry writing
• Proficiency with CargoWise is essential
• Strong working knowledge of HTS classification and CBP regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders
