About the Role

The Business Development Manager will drive new business growth across international freight forwarding (air & ocean) and integrated logistics services throughout the Midwest region.
You’ll develop and manage client relationships, identify strategic growth opportunities, and collaborate closely with operations and product specialists to deliver tailored supply chain solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive growth across air and ocean freight forwarding.

  • Identify, target, and secure new mid-market and enterprise customers.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and supply chain stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and account success.

  • Deliver consultative sales presentations and negotiate complex logistics solutions.

  • Track performance metrics and pipeline development using CRM tools.


Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience within international freight forwarding or global logistics.

  • Proven success in developing new business and exceeding revenue targets.

  • Strong understanding of air, ocean, and multimodal transportation solutions.

  • Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Based in Minnesota or open to travel across the region.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to thrive within a performance-oriented environment.
