About the Role
This is a key strategic hire focused on expanding the company’s air freight portfolio in the Miami region and beyond. The role centers around developing new business opportunities, especially with clients moving goods between the U.S. and Latin America. You’ll take ownership of the sales process from lead generation through to onboarding, working closely with internal operations and pricing teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs. This is a high-impact position offering both autonomy and clear growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow air freight business across key verticals
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across the U.S. and LATAM regions
- Build strong client relationships and maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities
- Collaborate with operations and pricing teams to deliver tailored, competitive solutions
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and networking functions
- Report on KPIs, sales activity, and market trends to leadership
Candidate Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in freight forwarding sales, with a focus on air freight
- Demonstrable success winning new business and developing long-term client accounts
- Strong knowledge of U.S.–LATAM trade lanes and regional air cargo markets
- Based in or near the Miami area, with local market knowledge
- Self-starter with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team
