About the Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities in the Miami region, with a focus on international freight forwarding services. This is a growth-driven sales role, engaging directly with importers, exporters, and supply chain leaders to deliver tailored logistics solutions across global trade lanes. You’ll be expected to leverage existing contacts, build new relationships, and help position the company as a leading partner for both mid-sized and enterprise clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive new business growth in air and ocean freight.

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new client opportunities across key verticals.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and onboarding.

  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to support commercial strategy.


Candidate Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics services.

  • Strong knowledge of air and ocean freight products, with NVOCC experience preferred.

  • Established network of customers within the Miami and South Florida region.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with internal teams.
