This is a deliberately different commercial model. There is no traditional commission plan. Instead, the business offers a high base salary and long-term equity upside for individuals capable of building meaningful enterprise relationships and delivering sustained growth.
The leadership team believes the traditional freight sales model often traps strong operators on a constant commission treadmill, where accounts become house accounts and compensation structures change. The Role
You will be responsible for developing new business across international air and ocean freight solutions, targeting mid-sized importers and exporters with complex supply chain requirements.
The position focuses on strategic commercial development rather than transactional sales. You will work closely with senior leadership to identify target sectors, develop key relationships, and deliver tailored international logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and secure new international freight forwarding opportunities across the North East region

Target mid-sized importers and exporters with complex global supply chains

Build relationships with senior decision makers including VP Supply Chain, Logistics Directors, and C-Suite stakeholders

Develop strategic solutions across international air and ocean freight services

Collaborate with internal operations and product teams to deliver high-value logistics solutions

Candidate Profile

5+ years of international freight forwarding sales experience (air and ocean)
