Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Air Export Operator to join a fast-paced operations team. This role is ideal for someone with prior freight forwarding experience who thrives in a dynamic environment and is looking to further develop their career in international logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage air export shipments from start to finish
• Prepare and review export documentation, including HAWB and MAWB
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and procedures
• Review country-specific export documentation requirements
• Prepare, proof, and present shipping documents including Letters of Credit and drafts
• Coordinate pre-alerts and provide uplift information to overseas offices and agents
• Ensure all documentation is complete and accurately prepared for airport transfers
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams, customers, and partners
• Support general operational tasks and light freight handling when required

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding (export-focused)
• College degree preferred but not essential
• Strong understanding of air export procedures and documentation
• Knowledge of customs regulations and compliance requirements
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills (phone, email, and interpersonal)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with standard office applications
• Ability to comply with TSA regulations (CCSF environment)
