Role Overview
As an Airfreight Export Operator, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end export process for international airfreight shipments. This is a hands-on operational role working closely with clients, airlines, and internal teams to ensure smooth and compliant export handling from booking through to final delivery.

Role Overview
As an Airfreight Export Operator, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end export process for international airfreight shipments. This is a hands-on operational role working closely with clients, airlines, and internal teams to ensure smooth and compliant export handling from booking through to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full air export cycle, including booking, documentation, and shipment coordination
- Liaise with airlines, customers, and overseas offices to ensure timely movement of goods
- Prepare export documentation (AWBs, customs clearance, export declarations, etc.) in line with regulations
- Handle rate requests, quotations, and service follow-up for key customers
- Monitor shipments proactively and resolve any operational issues
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, security requirements, and company policies
- Provide a high level of customer service and build strong client relationships
- Support the team with general office and operational tasks as required
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship in freight forwarding (Speditionskaufmann/-frau) or equivalent logistics qualification
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in airfreight export operations
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures and export regulations
- Proficient in MS Office and ideally in common freight forwarding systems (e.g., CargoWise, SAP, or similar)
- Fluent in German and good command of English (spoken and written)
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities
