We are seeking an Air & Ocean Import/Export Specialist to support international freight forwarding operations across air freight, ocean freight, import coordination, and export execution.

This position is responsible for managing shipments from origin through final delivery while ensuring compliance, operational accuracy, and consistent communication across customers, carriers, overseas agents, and internal teams.

The role requires experience within international freight forwarding operations across both import and export cargo movements.

What You’ll Handle

• Coordinate international air and ocean import/export shipments from booking through final delivery
• Manage shipment documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and export filings
• Coordinate with airlines, ocean carriers, customs brokers, truckers, warehouses, and overseas agents
• Track shipment milestones and maintain accurate shipment visibility within internal systems
• Ensure compliance across import/export procedures, customs requirements, and customer instructions
• Communicate directly with customers regarding shipment updates, transit timelines, and operational issues
• Support routing, booking management, and freight cost coordination
• Monitor shipment exceptions and resolve operational delays proactively
• Maintain accurate operational records within CargoWise and related systems
• Support high-volume freight forwarding operations across multiple trade lanes

What Matters

• 2+ years of experience within freight forwarding or international logistics operations
• Experience handling air freight and ocean freight shipments across imports and exports
• Understanding of shipping documentation, customs coordination, and Incoterms
• CargoWise experience preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to manage deadlines within a shipment-driven environment
• Strong communication and customer service capability
• Experience working with carriers, overseas agents, and logistics providers
