About the Role

This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Executive to manage and grow a portfolio of truckload brokerage clients across the Midwest. You’ll have access to extensive carrier relationships, operational support, and modern technology to help you maximize margin and service delivery. The role is ideal for a self-driven professional who thrives in a relationship-driven, team-oriented environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand relationships with shippers across key verticals.

  • Negotiate rates, secure capacity, and manage full-truckload and partial shipments.

  • Collaborate closely with carrier sales and operations teams to ensure service excellence.

  • Maintain accurate load data, pricing, and customer records in the TMS.

  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and pursue new business.

  • Represent the company’s values of integrity, reliability, and customer-first service.


Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in freight brokerage or logistics sales.

  • Strong understanding of domestic truckload operations and carrier markets.

  • Proven ability to generate and retain business relationships.

  • Skilled negotiator with a track record of achieving margin targets.

  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Chicago metro area.

  • Proficiency in CRM and TMS systems preferred.
