Tender & Pricing Manager

A global logistics provider is seeking a strategic and detail-driven Tender & Pricing Manager to join their Houston office. This role is critical in supporting global RFQs, client pricing, and end-to-end commercial strategy across complex project logistics, industrial shipments, and general freight forwarding.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead RFQ and tender processes for key accounts across air, ocean, and overland freight

Analyze carrier and vendor rates, negotiate terms, and consolidate pricing strategies for multi-modal projects

Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and overseas teams to build cost-effective, client-specific proposals

Maintain pricing models, internal databases, and compliance documentation

Prepare and review profitability models, margin forecasts, and bid responses

Monitor market conditions and provide strategic input on trade lanes and rate trends

Support strategic client onboarding and post-tender transitions into operations
Requirements:

3–5+ years in pricing, tender management, or commercial support within freight forwarding or project logistics

Strong understanding of international trade lanes, incoterms, and carrier negotiations

Experience with heavy lift, OOG, or industrial shipments is preferred

Proficiency in MS Excel and pricing software; CargoWise experience is a plus

Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and confident in cross-department collaboration
