Key Responsibilities

 

  • Import/Export Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of air and ocean freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation Handling: Prepare and process essential shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and commercial invoices.
  • Carrier Coordination: Communicate with carriers, vendors, and clients to arrange transportation and address operational issues.
  • CargoWise Expertise: Utilize CargoWise to manage shipment data, track inventory, generate reports, and optimize platform efficiency.
  • Compliance: Ensure all shipments comply with international regulations, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

 

Key Requirements

 

  • CargoWise Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CargoWise, including managing import, export, and customs processes.
  • Freight Forwarding Experience: Minimum of 2 years in air and ocean freight forwarding, with a solid understanding of logistics operations.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to collaborate across teams, negotiate with vendors, and provide exceptional client service.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Proactive in identifying challenges and implementing practical solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in preparing and reviewing shipping documents to ensure compliance and accuracy.

 

Preferred but Not Required:

 

  • Familiarity with additional freight forwarding software.
  • Experience in key verticals such as healthcare, automotive, or retail logistics.
