A Global Freight Forwarder  
Germany (Remote with travel)

Overview:

A leading global freight forwarder is looking for a dynamic Field Sales Manager to join their team in Germany. This role is perfect for an individual with a passion for sales, logistics, and building strong client relationships. The Field Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by acquiring new business, nurturing existing customer relationships, and expanding market presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  •  The Field Sales Manager will proactively seek out new opportunities through client visits and cold calls, uncovering fresh business prospects to drive the company’s product offerings.
  • Responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with current clients, ensuring their satisfaction and exploring additional business opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential leads and build connections with new customers, expanding the company's network across the region.
  •  Effectively manage sales leads, guiding them through the sales pipeline to convert opportunities into tangible results.
  • The role will involve daily use of the CRM system to track, manage, and optimize customer interactions for enhanced performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Inside Sales team to help create compelling offers and solutions tailored to customer needs.

Requirements 
  • A degree or vocational qualification in logistics or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in sea and/or air freight operations
  • Previous sales and field service experience is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
  • Assertive, self-motivated, and highly reliable
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Proficiency in German and English
