We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global freight forwarder seeking an Airfreight Sales Professional to drive growth across North Germany. This prestigious forwarder is known for its innovative logistics solutions and global reach, supporting clients with seamless airfreight services that meet complex shipping needs. Role Overview:

The Airfreight Sales Professional will be instrumental in expanding the company’s airfreight footprint across the North German market. This position is ideal for a seasoned sales expert with a strong background in airfreight and a proven ability to win new business. The successful candidate will be focused on building new client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that align with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • New Business Development: Proactively identify and secure new airfreight business opportunities throughout North Germany. Build a robust pipeline of potential clients across multiple sectors.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that aligns with the company’s goals for airfreight growth in the region.
  • Revenue Generation: Achieve sales targets by promoting airfreight solutions, with cross-selling opportunities across other logistics services.
  • Market Insight: Stay updated on market conditions, competitor activities, and industry trends to position the company effectively and respond to client needs.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate closely with internal teams in operations, pricing, and customer service to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular updates on sales progress, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior sales leadership.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in airfreight sales, ideally within a global freight forwarding or logistics organization.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in German and English, with strong communication abilities in both.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven track record in driving airfreight sales growth, negotiating deals, and managing customer relationships.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of airfreight products, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Location Flexibility: Based in or near Hamburg, Bremen, Düsseldorf, Cologne, or Hannover, with travel as needed to meet with clients.
  • Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Able to work independently, with a passion for achieving results and exceeding targets.
